Let’s talk about Commissions

While I won’t always be available for commissions, NEVER hesitate to ask! There may be times that I’m working on other projects for myself, but those can normally be put aside to accommodate your needs.

Other times I may be in the middle of another commission but should be able to put you in queue depending on the openings available

A note from the Artist on Commissions

Please keep in mind that every commission piece that I create is made by hand and is one of a kind that is created specifically for you, the customer. While I do work around a realism style, this isn’t photorealism, nor hyperrealism. Detail is also very dependent on the physical size of the substrate, with larger pieces more inclined to accept more intricacies, while smaller pieces start to lose some of that.

Above all else, I need a good reference photo. If I don’t get one that’s good enough, I may sadly have to decline the work. I don’t want to put myself nor the customer in a position to where neither of us are happy with the final piece.

Please also keep in mind that when it comes to pricing, I try keep my rates reasonable. With the amount of work and care that goes into one of these custom pieces, I do hope that you will agree

Commission Requirements

  • 50% nonrefundable deposit required to begin work

  • Turnaround- once work begins, depending on complexity 2 to 6 weeks

  • These turnaround times could be longer or shorter depending on peak ordering times and holiday seasons

  • Prices may adjust for highly detailed or more complex subjects

Once your order is placed, I’ll send a confirmation email, generally within 24 hours, with instructions on how to send your photo. You’ll be sent a picture of the finished piece before shipping, but please keep in mind that colors and tones may vary from monitor to monitor and lighting differences.
